To say we locked it up before the final race under the Daytona lights is an understatement. With a staggering 755-point lead over Andy’s Windy City Racin’ team, this championship wasn’t just won—it was a total Lone Star blowout.

But before my victory lap gets too comfortable, there’s still a race to run tonight. Let’s start with a look back at Loudon before a preview of the high-stakes madness of the regular-season finale.

The Loudon Review: Better Late Than Never, Andy!

Andy: Under the topic of “too little, too late,” in the season-long points race, Windy City Racin’ finally got a much-needed 78-point win in Loudon last weekend!

It had been so long since my last win back in Atlanta on July 12th that I almost forgot how to celebrate. But good things come to those who wait. Led by race winner Ryan Blaney, we had 3 drivers in the top 5 and 6 in the top 15. That is pure dominance. Lone Star Racin’ might have controlled the regular season, but Windy City Racin’ is finding our stride exactly when it matters most. Watch out, because we are officially hot heading into the finale. To celebrate, I’m cracking open a Finestkind IPA from New Hampshire’s own Smuttynose Brewing Company—because this win was truly the “Finest Kind.”

Leesl: Slow your roll, driver. You finally cross the finish line first for the first time in over a month, and suddenly you’re delivering warnings? Let’s keep our eyes on the track: Lone Star Racin’ has absolutely dominated 20 of the 25 races this season.

Even on a weekend where my lineup took some heavy damage, I still managed to put three drivers in the top 10 led by Bubba Wallace. And speaking of that Smuttynose reference — I hate to break it to you, Andy, but “Finest Kind” is a pretty ironic choice for a team that has been completely lost in the woods all season. But, hey even a blind squirrel finds a nut sometimes! Enjoy your brief moment in the sun. 🐿️ ☀️

Andy: There is no better track to close out the regular season than Daytona International Speedway under the lights. This 2.5-mile tri-oval features dramatic 31-degree high-banked turns that force extreme speeds and tight pack racing—where one wrong move can wipe out half the field in a split second. 💥

Leesl might have already clinched the regular season, but heading into tonight, Windy City Racin’ has absolutely nothing to lose. We’re putting on one final blockbuster show: Chris Buescher and Christopher Bell are setting the stage, and Ryan Blaney is our ultimate headliner. I will be singing loud and proud tonight in victory lane when Blaney takes the checkered flag!

Leesl: And you’ll be singing completely off-key! Let’s be real—Lone Star Racin’ has been at the top of the charts all year while your team has been stuck on repeat. The regular-season gold record is already framed on my wall, so you can stop pretending you’re the main event.

Besides, there are no “Side B” tracks on my roster. I’m bringing a heavy-hitting lineup of stadium-status rockstars with William Byron, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, and Bubba Wallace.
