Welcome to the inside track! We aren’t your typical sports analysts—we’re a couple whose life is centered around our teams, our home cities, and the perfect pour. We love the game, and we love the debate that comes with it.
Our story is built on two things that keep our living room interesting:
- The Ultimate Rivalry: We are a house divided by deep roots. Leesl is a Texas fanatic from Dallas—Go Cowboys, Rangers, Stars, and Mavs! Andy is a proud South Sider from Chicago—it’s all about da Bears, Bulls, Blackhawks, and White Sox. Our different allegiances make every season a win for us.
- The Perfect Pairing: We believe every great game deserves a great brew. While we’re tracking the play-by-play, we’re also exploring the best local breweries and game-day brews to find the perfect pairing for the final score.
This blog started with a friendly wager and a shared beer, and it has grown into a shared life. It’s a space where our two perspectives—and our two favorite cities—come together.
