Andy: I made no bold predictions last week at Richmond—I was simply begging for a win. That didn’t happen. Instead, it was another soul-crushing 87-point beatdown at the hands of Lone Star Racin’, stretching my team’s deficit to a staggering 833 points. Over the last 10 races, I’m losing by an average of 41 points a week, which means a 900-point total blowout is well within reach. With only two races left before the playoffs, I’m not just feeling the pinch—I’m getting completely cooked. UGH.

Leesl: Last week, I joked that Windy City Racin’ was barely in the same zip code as my team. After Richmond, you aren’t even in the same state! You’re stuck in the breakdown lane on I-35 while Lone Star Racin’ is cruising in the express lane with the AC on high. I’m not waving the green flag on a victory lap just yet with two races to go, but let’s be real: my lineup is firing on all cylinders, and yours is running on spare tires! Now we’re heading up to the “Magic Mile” at New Hampshire. Time to go catch a giant lobster, Andy—and trust me, I’m bringing the melted butter!

🧈Butter Late Than Never: Magic Mile Predictions

Andy: Off we go to Loudon for the Dollar Tree 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. This 1.058-mile oval features flat, tight corners banked at a modest two to seven degrees. Because passing here is notoriously tough, winning demands heavy braking, track position, and flawless pit strategy. Windy City Racin’ hasn’t seen much magic on the track this season, but maybe we can conjure up a little luck for just one race.

While Leesl is living a fantasy racing fairytale, my season has been a dreary nightmare filled with wrecks, bad strategy, and endless driver setbacks. Thankfully, there are only two races left in the regular season, meaning I can finally start scouting new drivers for the playoff roster swap! (Hey, I have to find a silver lining somewhere.)

Last week, I made no winner predictions and got clobbered by 87 points, so it’s time to grab the wheel and correct the slide. Christopher Bell, Brad Keselowski, and Kyle Larson all know how to navigate this flat track. This week, I’m rolling with Christopher Bell to take the checkered flag and save my sanity!

Leesl: If Andy thinks his sanity is sliding now, just wait until the green flag drops at Loudon. While he’s busy window-shopping for a playoff rebuild, Lone Star Racin’ is keeping the pressure turned up to a hard boil. Twenty wins in 24 races proves my recipe works, and I have no plans to stop cooking.

With seven of my eight drivers already locked into the postseason, my main goal this week is watching Ross Chastain secure enough points to make it a clean 8-for-8 sweep for Lone Star Racin’. Having four of my drivers starting inside the top five—including Tyler Reddick sitting pretty on the pole position—is a fantastic way to kick off my Sunday!

I have a stacked lineup of past Loudon standouts led by Denny Hamlin and Chase Briscoe. But for the big win, I’m locking in Tyler Reddick to snap his summer slump and haul home his sixth victory of the season!
