Leesl: Well, Andy, the title says it all. It’s time to rev up those engines for the next round of the playoffs, and for four of our drivers, it was “last call.” I thought Alex Bowman could be a legitimate threat, so it was frustrating that he ran out of rubber on the final restart. Josh Berry was not only a shocking success for even making the playoffs, but a shocking disappointment for finishing last in all three Round 1 races. And as for Denny? I’ll throw it back to the movie Days of Thunder—”You need all four tires!” Overall, Lone Star Racin’ is still a threat with my 109-point lead! Congratulations, by the way, on your first win of the playoffs.

Andy: And it’s just the start of what Windy City Racin’ will do in the next round. Let’s face it—I have the fierce four: Kyle Larson, Ryan Blaney, Chase Elliott, and the Bristol Champ, Christopher Bell! What does your team have, other than a lot of points? Most experts consider them dark horses at best… other than William Byron. And, of course, Denny with only three tires—isn’t that called a tricycle?

Looking Ahead to New Hampshire!

Leesl: Don’t let that one win go to your head, Andy. The stage is set for Round 2, which kicks off next Sunday at “The Magic Mile”. This track never fails to deliver dramatic finishes and big competition, especially in the playoffs! The debate is on.

Andy: I’m not worried. This is where my team really shines. We’re in the hunt, and you’re just trying to hold on to your lead.
